Campaign Story

My Name is Ariana and My partner’s Name is Tyler, I have a physical disability called Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type III. It is a brittle bone condition that causes my bones to break easily, body abnormalities, and short stature. We have seen many specialists with the hope of starting a family eventually. Unfortunately, there seems to be a problem with ovulation as well as a concern for my health if I were to carry the baby on my own. It has been decided that the best route would be gestational surrogacy when the time comes. Osteogenesis Imperfecta is a rare genetic disorder that affects fewer than 20,000 Americans a year. We have and continue to process the grief of not being able to conceive due to the risks. As much as I want to carry my baby I would be risking my own life and health in the process.

I am asking for the help of a wonderful community to start this journey by donating to our fundraiser. We are seeking help with the financial cost of surrogacy. Even small donations will help us greatly in this journey. I have also decided that I will be writing the names of every donator on a poster board to eventually hang up in our future baby’s nursery to honor everyone so kind to help support us.

Thank you for taking the time to read about us and our journey.
